Hello! My name is Lilu Kaufman, I am a full-stack software developer. At present I am interested in biotechnology and financial technology, expanding my skill set, and my understanding of AI integration.
From data structures to drawing I have a passion for seeing ideas become tangible. The versatility of technology inspires me everyday pursuing my dual major of Computer Science and Information Technologies and Web Sciences at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. Currently I am a third-year student.
Beyond the classroom, I consistently contribute to clubs I believe make a positive impact to the community. At the moment this includes but is not limited to the Union Programming and Activities Committee as their concerts division treasurer and a volunteer; the Association of Computing Machinery - Women in Computing Chapter as a mentor and member; and the Hack-RPI hackathon organization committee as an organizer and volunteer.
I hope to combine my creativity and love for programming to advance the current capabilities of technologies in the goal of helping others. I thoroughly enjoy problem-solving and aim to use my imagination to allow me to view issues from new perspectives. I thrive on collaborating and value fresh POVs. My approach to issues involves addressing obstacles head-on utilizing effective communication. I aspire to create a balance between my love for STEM and the arts while having a positive impact on communities worldwide.
